Katerina Vasilyeva has a master's degree in mass communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia; 4 years of professional experience in TV and radio, including CBS News, New York; 10 years of professional experience in marketing including such companies as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola and Henkel; 5 years of working as a free-lance translator for a variety of clients, including American Councils for International Education and Goethe Institut. She currently resides in Krakow where she divides her time between writing, acting, long-distance running and taking care of her family.
