We all know that our lives consist of different stages we should pass through. Each of these stages demands certain development from a person. We don't have the same mindset we had when we were teenagers and we don't have the same mindset now, when we are about to reach the wonderful age of 30. Unfortunately some people refuse to grow up. They see this natural process as something intimidating, as if they are losing something. It's not true! We don't lose anything, but instead achieve a new level of understanding and gain new experience.

By the age of 30 you should understand certain things, like who you are and what you want in life. You are responsible for your achievements and failures, and nobody else. You should be able to give up certain habits and control your reactions to situations that take place in your life.
Therefore, I'd like to present some examples of things You should better stop doing by the time you turn 30. So let's get started.
You are responsible for your financial well-being, so it's time to stop calling your parents and constantly asking if you can borrow some money. It's immature to point fingers and blame others, like your own parents or friends, for your problems. You are an adult and you are responsible for everything that happens to you.
You shouldn't look back, regretting the things you have or haven't done. You should always look ahead and doggedly strive toward your goals.
You shouldn't waste your money on alcohol and partying, but you should instead spend it sensibly. And speaking about partying: never brag on social media about how drunk you were, No matter how old you are. It doesn't create a good impression. And don't engage in online arguments or respond to every negative comment. Adults don't do that.
Stop looking for other people's approval. You're not a kid anymore. You don't need to live up to others' expectations of you. It's your life.
Choose your friends carefully. Stop maintaining friendships with people who are a bad influence just because you're scared to cut them out of your life.
You shouldn't refuse to do something just because it seems difficult. Just do it! You'll never know if you can, unless you try.
You mustn't compare yourself to others or worry about what other people think of you. This feature is peculiar to teenagers. Never stalk your ex on social media and don't envy the lives of other people. You have your own life. and don't wait for things to happen: make them happen. You are the creator of your own happiness.
Dressing like a teenager and boasting about expensive things, like clothes or a new iPhone, on social media, in order to get attention is silly. It's not appropriate for an adult.
Don't try to be perfect all the time. Stop beating yourself up. Allow yourself to make mistakes. Don't take life or yourself too seriously.
And most importantly, never ignore your relationships with people who care about you and are always there to help. Life isn't worth a thing without your family and friends. Keep that in mind!
And one more Thing: Don't think that your life should be perfect now that you are almost 30. Remember that success is a long-lasting process made out of failures. So be patient, dogged, and do your best and you will achieve everything you want. Good luck!
