Remember that ubiquitous question of your childhood, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Turns out, you don't have to be anything. According to the trendy Nimses social network, in this day and age, you can earn a living just by... living. You don't have to do anything other than register in Nimses and keep your eyes glued to your smartphone: the time you spend in the app is money. Literally, you earn 1 nim, or roughly 0,001 USD for every minute you're active in Nimses. Technically, you have the potential to earn 1440 nims daily for each minute you've lived in these 24 hours. Or more, if you perform certain actions within the network: get people to like your photos or posts, and/or like theirs. Even though it's not yet possible to use nims outside of the app, 2 million people have already jumped on the bandwagon. Should you?
Let's see. The app requires continuous access to the user's location. Your every movement can and will be traced. Once you register with Nimses, you are bound to provide sensitive personal information, the authenticity of which will be verified. This information will then be visible to all users within the network, and no, you can't change your privacy settings. What about antispam and antibot features, you wonder? None of these are in place, which leaves you susceptible to a lot of unwanted content. The process of deleting your account is currently a big hassle, too. All this for 1.44 USD per day in virtual currency? Maybe, better send out these resumes already and find a real job?
